Australian Indie Rockers Old Mervs Are Hitting the Road This August & September
The band will end the 11-date tour with a show at The Gov in September.

Perth indie duo Old Mervs are embarking on their biggest ever tour this August and September, playing shows in Australia and New Zealand. The ‘How The Fark Are Ya?’ tour includes four gigs in New Zealand and seven shows in Australia.
The tour kicks off in New Zealand with shows in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, along with an appearance at Snow Machine Festival in Queenstown.
Old Mervs then head back across the ditch for a run of shows in Australia that includes two stops in Melbourne along with dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart and Adelaide. The band have also lined up a mini-festival in their home state of WA with a show in Fremantle that also includes performances from Ra Ra Viper, Fool Nelson, Ullah and Hey So Hungry.
“We formally invite you to join us at Freo Arts Centre this September! Young, old and everyone in-between… Stoked to be chucking this one on outside!” the band said in a statement about their homecoming show.
“Massive stage, huge bars and an even bigger line-up of WA's finest. See you down in Freo, get behind the Mervs’ cause and grab your ticket now. We can't bloody wait.”
Along with playing alongside Old Mervs at the Fremantle gig, indie trio Fool Nelson will support the band throughout their Australian and New Zealand tour.
The announcement of Old Mervs’ massive tour comes hot on the heels of a successful 2023 that saw the band complete three national tours and drop their sophomore EP, Get Better.
The EP debuted at #2 on the Australian ARIA Charts and has already accumulated over 4.5 million streams, which is very impressive.
The duo of vocalist and guitarist David House and drummer Henry Carrington-Jones have also just finished their Australian regional tour that saw them play 18 shows across WA, NSW, VIC and QLD from January to March.
