After a successful 2023 outing, Good Things Festival is coming back for round five later this year.
While most music lovers are still heartbroken after the cancellation of Splendour in the Grass, it appears the Australian festival scene is still alive and kicking.
After Bluesfest announced it was returning in 2025, another festival is back for its fifth edition later this year – Destroy All Lines’ Good Things Festival.
The alternative, metal and punk festival was a huge hit in 2023, with Fallout Boy, Limp Bizkit, Devo, Bullet for My Valentine and Pennywise just some of the huge international acts that performed.
There were also plenty of awesome local bands who took to the stage, such as Eskimo Joe, Spiderbait, Luca Brasi and Boom Crash Opera.
Taking to social media last night, the organisers wanted to let everyone know a “few (Good) Things.” As well as announcing photo albums from the 2023 event will be online soon, along with the official after movie (watch above), organisers also confirmed the festival would be back this year.
“We are beyond excited to be working behind the scenes to assemble our 2024 lineup for you,” the statement says. “We know that music festivals have been in the news for the wrong reasons of late, but we are here and can’t wait for December to roll around once again!”
The statement also hyped Bring Me the Horizon’s upcoming Australian tour that kicks off this Wednesday, April 10 in Melbourne.
