British Metal Act Sylosis Announce 2025 Australian Tour
The British heavy metal act will be supported by special guests AngelMaker.
British heavy metal group Sylosis returns to our shores in 2025 on their first Australian tour since performing at Soundwave in 2013.
The band’s first national headline tour is a long time coming. After performing as part of Soundwave, Sylosis toured the UK and Europe before going on hiatus in 2014 after guitarist/vocalist Josh Middleton joined Architects.
Now back full-time with the band, Middleton and co are ready to unleash their brand of thrash metal on Aussie audiences next February.
Sylosis’ whirlwind tour kicks off in Perth at Magnet House on Tuesday, February 11. This is followed by dates at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Wednesday, February 12, Max Watts in Melbourne on Friday, February 14 and Manning Bar in Sydney on Saturday, February 15. The final show takes place in Brisbane at the Triffid on Sunday, February 16.
Pre-sale tickets are available this Friday, August 2 at 8:30am local time. You can register here. General on sale begins on Tuesday, August 6 at 8:30am via The Phoenix.

Sylosis’ Australian tour comes two years after the release of their sixth album, A Sign of Things to Come. Critically acclaimed and well-received by metal fans, Kerrang!’s Sam Law called the album a “phenomenally satisfying return” and awarded the release 4/5.
Reviews of their recent live performances have also been off the charts, with Moshville calling frontman Middleton “an absolute master of his craft, turning in some of the heaviest vocals you’ll ever hear, all whilst never missing a note on the guitar.”
Rising Canadian deathcore harbingers of doom AngelMaker continue to scare and delight heavy metal listeners with their violent and brutal combination of death metal and hardcore. They aren’t for the faint of heart and are sure to gain new fans when they support Sylosis next February.
