Cold Chisel Add More Australian Tour Dates
After selling out the entire run of their ‘Big Five-O’ Australian tour, Cold Chisel has announced six additional dates.
The original 17 shows went on sale last week, with the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane dates selling out within minutes. The new shows include gigs in Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Hunter Valley and Sydney, bringing the total number of dates on the tour to 23.
“We were completely blown away by the response last week,” vocalist Jimmy Barnes said in a press release. “The demand for tickets was bigger than anything we’ve ever seen before.”

The reaction of our fans has really fired us up - we can’t wait to play for everyone.”

Deftones Top Study As Most Listened To Metal Band During Sex
A new study by ZipHealth about what people listen to while having intercourse has found heavy metal act Deftones coming out on top.
The band behind ‘My Own Summer (Shove It)’, ‘Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)’ and the aptly titled ‘Sextape’ are the band metal fans love getting jiggy with it too.
ZipHealth surveyed over 1,000 people on their bedroom listening habits, with 47 per cent of participants admitting to regularly listening to music while having sex.
Other interesting data to come out of the survey includes Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Freaky Girl’ being the number one listened to song across sex playlists, The Weeknd being the top artist blasted during sex and Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Closer’ the favourite tune of those indulging in BDSM.
The study also revealed the benefits of listening to music while getting freaky, with those getting hot and heavy to tunes reporting listening to music increases the amount of sex they have and results in more sexual satisfaction.

Refused Cancel Reunion Show After Frontman Suffers Heart Attack
Refused frontman Dennis Lyxzén suffered what he called “a massive heart attack” in the leadup to the band’s final festival date ever.
Taking to Instagram, Lyxzén posted a photo of him in the hospital giving the peace sign accompanied by the caption: “So this morning I had a massive heart attack at my hotel room. It’s was extremely painful and wildly scary. Thanks the the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Uppsala hospital I’m still around to fight another day. Under the circumstances I feel ok. Sore and tired and really shook up.”
