The faces and flavours of Beer & BBQ Fest that have our belly rumbling...
BURGERCHINO
Affordable food that doesn’t skimp on flavour is the MO of Burgerchino. This favourite eatery is leaving its Port Adelaide home and popping up at Beer & BBQ Fest to help curb any appetite you might’ve worked up traversing between booze stalls. Feast on loaded fries, tacos and burgers slathered in tangy, housemade sauces. Burgerchino will also be slinging a beast of a feed at the festival: a 1.7kg beef burger with all the trimmings – approximately the size of seven burgers. Now, who’s hungry?
Yes Please: The tropical beef burger with cheese, bacon, pineapple salsa and guacamole.
Pair With: Shapeshifter's Open Your Eyes Mexican Lager.

WORLD’S ON FIRE
Curated by culinary talent (and BBQ Ambassador) Alana Brabin, World’s On Fire returns to Beer & BBQ Fest this July. This fiery food activation celebrates the diversity of traditional cooking methods derived from Indigenous cultures worldwide, including Thailand, the Caribbean, Australia and Jordan/Palestine. Most of all, World’s On Fire acts as a point of global connection and appreciation through cultural culinary heritage. Vendors presented include Jamaican Mi Eat (Caribbean), Red Centre (First Nations), The Levant Project (Jordan/ Palestine) and The Thai Guy (Thailand).
Yes Please: Jerk chicken with rice, peas and slaw, drizzled in habanero hot sauce.
Pair With: Prancing Pony's Amber Ale.

FLAMIN’ GRILLAS Low & Slow
Queensland’s award-winning Flamin’ Grillas Low & Slow are rolling their smokehouse into the Adelaide Showground and setting up their signature Wheel of Squeal – a Ferris wheel that rotates whole pigs over a flaming fire. This innovative contraption is set to be a star in the festival’s food component and is a driving force behind Flamin’ Grillas’ famed smoky pork feeds. What a way to make a Beer & BBQ Fest debut!
Yes Please: Pulled pork burger with sweet Memphis slaw and smoked hickory sauce.
Pair With: Crafty Robot's Hazy IPA.

MR. CHARLIE’S
California-via-Sydney eatery Mr. Charlie’s is heralded as the vegan version of Maccas, opening its first international storefront in Redfern last year. It’s everything you love about fast food without the disappointment – no soggy lettuce, no funky fillings, no questionable meats. Instead, hyper-processed Happy Meals are replaced with plant-based patties and not-chicken nuggets that are meat-free, dairy-free and trans-fat-free. How good! There’s no fast food hangover or bellyache with these fresh flavours.
Yes Please: Not a Chicken Burger – a plant-based chicken patty, lettuce and plant-based mayo.
Pair With: Big Shed's Jetty Jumper Mid Strength Pale Ale.

SEÑOR BBQ
Señor BBQ is parking itself at Beer & BBQ Fest to serve punters a feast of authentic Argentinian food, slow-cooked over hardwood charcoal for the ultimate smoked taste. These flavours pack a punch. Think BBQ asado-cut ribs topped with housemade chimichurri, juicy chicken wings and traditional Argentinian choripán. Our belly is rumbling, is yours?
Yes Please: An Argentinian choripán sando: a grilled chorizo sandwiched between a crusty baguette-like bread.
Pair With: Barossa Valley Brewing's Hop Heaven IPA.
