Africola Canteen
A Tasting Australia debut. Africola Canteen is the little sister of the cult-favourite East Terrace institution, serving fresh, veg-forward ‘salads and not salads’. Expect flatbreads, grilled meats, pickled flavours and hearty veg, all inspired by the flavours of Africa. Our pick? You can’t go wrong with the Africola signature spicy sausage, paired with chimichurri, garlic sauce and fermented flatbread.

One Sneaky Cheeta
Good pizza made fast is the MO at One Sneaky Cheetah. Hand-stretched dough, homemade sauce and woodfired flavours underpin the pizzeria’s traditional and not-so-traditional toppings. Our pick? We love a ham and pineapple pizza (controversial). Or try the Cheetah Tail – One Sneaky Cheetah’s famed dough rolled into the shape of a tail (duh), woodfired and slathered in garlic herb butter and Parmigiano. An extra $2 will make it extra cheesy!

Braising Boy
These tacos are seriously good. The bright blue Braising Boy food truck borrows the vibrant flavours found in Mexico, turning them into tasty street eats that are easy to wolf down. Everything you’ll find folded inside the tortillas is made from scratch (including the spicy condiments!), taking cues from traditional Mexican cooking methods. Our pick? The tequila battered fish taco with spiced slaw and pickled onion.

Olive
Tasting Australia regulars Callum Hann and Themis Chryssidis are opening a pop-up stall of their latest restaurant, Olive, at the Town Square hub. Expect Mediterranean flavours delivered in a fresh format with locally sourced ingredients. Our pick? The fire pit pumpkin with goat curd, fermented honey, chilli and macadamia. Need a faster feed? You can’t go wrong with a serving of zucchini chips.
